To Save His Little Friend From Drifting Away On A Flotation Device, A Dog Bravely Jumps Into The Water

If you’ve ever really had a dog as a pet, you know how much they actually despise water. In fact, dogs are so “allergic” to water that they despise the thought of bathing.

There are a plethora of available videos on the internet showing man’s best friends doing everything they can to escape bath time, including feigning dead, hiding from their owners, refusing to look at their owner, and outright talking back.

While many dogs dislike water, others adore it. These water-loving dogs know how to have a good time in the water and enjoy swimming! Happy, a German Shepherd who appears in the video below, is clearly a water-loving dog. You still don’t believe us? Take a look at the short video to see for yourself.

Despite their evident size disparity, Happy and CJ are best buddies. Happy is considerably larger than his diminutive companion. Their disagreements, however, do not end there.

CJ, unlike Happy, does not enjoy getting his paws wet. After all, CJ is a puppy who lives in the city. He’s spent his entire life away from water, even swimming pools.

Happy, on the other hand, is a resident of Montana, which is famed for its large open spaces, parks, and, of course, its magnificent lakes and rivers. Happy adores swimming because he has spent his entire life near water. So, how do any of these things relate to the video?

CJ can be seen sitting on top of a floater in the video below. His father wanted him to take a walk down the river, but the city dog wasn’t interested. As a result, his father brings him further out into the river while he was sitting on the floater, but the floater begins to drift away owing to the water current.

Happy likes CJ despite the fact that he is not an outdoor dog like him. So when the water-loving dog notices his best friend being pushed further away by the river, he leaps into action. Happy dives into the water and swims up to CJ.

Happy then grabs the floater’s string and drags it all the way back to shore, CJ included. What a good young dog! He turns out to be just as fond of his companion CJ as he is of water!
