For dog lovers, it can be incredibly distressing when we find a lost pup wandering about without anyone to look after them. Most of the time, we feel compelled to help out because we don’t want our own dogs to have the same experience that the dog in need is currently facing.
This was exactly the thought on Tyler Wilson’s mind when he tried to approach a pup in the gas station he was in. Initially, he thought the pup was a lost one but he’d realize he was sorely mistaken when he read what was on the dog’s identification tag.
You see, the pup was wandering around the gas station for a couple of days that he felt moved to see where the poor thing was headed to. Tyler thought that the pup was probably in need of help in finding his way back to his family.
As soon as Tyler reached the pup, however, he discovered that he had a tag on the collar he had. There, he found out that the pup wasn’t missing and actually had a home of his own!
Tyler saw that the tag indicated that the pup just loved exploring a lot and was something of a celebrity around the neighborhood. As it turns out, this pup was named Dew and was owned by a family who had a farm sizing up to 70 acres. Given the size of the farm, it’s understandable that the dog might have been raised to get used to exploring quite a bit.
Knowing this, Tyler didn’t have to worry about the pup because he obviously knew what he was doing. Dew was just a pup who loved to explore the outside world and going on extensive adventures.
Hopefully, Dew doesn’t have trouble finding his way back. In either case, it’s delightful to note that people in his town will always look after him wherever he may be.
