A three-year-old terrier mix named Queen is a rescue dog that lived in a dumpster before being rescued. After she was rescued, she was taken to the Great Plains SPCA. Despite being such a sweet dog, she was always overlooked by people looking to adopt a rescue dog.
She’s been living in the shelter for more than a year until a man named Scott Poore showed up. When Scott heard about Queen, he decided to meet the lonely dog and find out why no one wants her. He was surprised when he met Queen.
Scott stated that Queen is the most affectionate dog that he ever got a chance to work with. She was very sweet and friendly, and she was also full of energy. He couldn’t figure out why no one wanted to adopt Queen. So he made it his mission to find the perfect family for her.
He wanted to make the world aware of Queen and for potential families to see just how this dog can be a perfect addition to a family. Scott spends a lot of time with Queen, and he saw her loneliness disappear. He also decided to live with Queen in the kennel to make a statement to the world just how amazing this dog can be.
Scott noticed that Queen exhibited signs of depression. To help Queen get adopted, Scott moved in the kennel where Queen was staying. He sleeps there and even works on the computer there. Scott also furnished the kennel to give Queen a feel for what’s it like to be in a home.
He’s getting a lot of attention and is currently getting donations to help him with his efforts to get Queen adopted. And, his efforts didn’t go unnoticed. A week after Scott moved in with Queen, someone saw her on the internet and fell in love. For Scott, his mission to get Queen adopted finally had a happy ending. Here’s a heartwarming video of how Scott made a great effort to help a dog in need of a loving family.
