Man Exercises At Home With Dog’s Help

Even under lockdown, you have to keep yourself healthy. The current situation is not an excuse for you to stuff your face with food without exercising to burn all those surplus calories. Now is the most crucial time for you to stay fit.

That said, we advise you to stay physically active even within the confines of your home. An hour of exercise will do. Your house not equipped with exercise paraphernalia does not qualify as an excuse.

Get creative, dear slacker. You have a canine companion with you under lockdown? That dog can be your makeshift dumbbell. Or at least that dog can provide you with the emotional support you need while breaking a sweat.

Take a cue from our featured video. This is how exercise should look like if you’re living with a doggo.

As you’ve seen in the video, if you try to exercise with a dog around, chances are you won’t be able to concentrate. Your dog will probably try to distract you and get your attention while you’re trying to pull off a five-minute plank.

That’s just how it is. You do not need to get mad and banish your dog outside where it looks like a ghost town. Instead, you can let your dog participate in what you’re doing.

Here’s an idea. Why not level up your plank? How you might ask.

While in position, have your dog sit on your back. The additional weight will further strain your muscles, which means more sweat will burst out of your pores. That’s a win-win situation right there.

You get to burn considerable calories. Your dog gets to ride on your back as if they are at the doggy park and not quarantined in the house. It will be fun, we promise.
