A rescue team from a charity organization called Royal Animal Refuge was sent to a neighborhood in Peachtree City, Georgia. One of the residents there reported a very skinny dog roaming their area. It looks like the dog has just given birth, and she needs all the help she can get.
True enough, once the rescuers arrived, they saw how skinny the dog was. Her bones jutted out of her skin. Before attempting to take her, they decided to give her some food first. She must have been famished.

But instead of eating the food that the rescuers gave, the dog, who was eventually named Clover, simply looked at the humans. She seemed agitated and trying to tell them something. The pooch kept looking in one particular direction.
The dog started walking in that direction and would stop then look at the rescuers. She did this several times as if she was asking them to follow her. So they did.
The dog led them inside a property where they saw an old house. They realized that maybe she is leading them to her puppies. And as soon as they got nearer, they started hearing the cries of desperate dogs.
Neglected animals
Once the rescuers got close to the house, they saw the dog’s litter. Surrounding them were malnourished dogs, some were trapped in small cages. The most horrifying thing was that there were some dead animals strewn all over the place. It was a horrible sight.
They called the authorities, and soon the owner was being questioned. Charges were filed against her.
Clover and the rest of the neglected creatures were brought to a shelter where they will be cared for. They are now free from their neglected state and will soon find a home that will surely give them the care and love that they desperately need.
