Sibling dogs Jjomaeng and Earllook lost their momma dog at a very young age. They were only a few days old when they became orphans, but they were lucky because their adoptive mom came into the picture and took them home. It was because of them that they survived.
Jjomaeng was born several minutes ahead of Earllook. He was supposed to be the big brother who looks after his younger sibling. But because of his condition, he’s unable to fulfill his duties.
The young dog was born with no legs and paws. He was never able to stand like his brother, let alone walk and play in the yard. He tried more than a dozen times to move from one spot to another and he ended up hurting himself all the time.
Jjomaeng is not completely immobile. He crawls like a caterpillar although he isn’t able to go far. But at least, he can go outside the house. He also tries to play with his other dog siblings but he just can’t catch up to them.
The dog’s mom does her best to provide Jjomaeng with the best life. She brings her to work every day, feeds him nutritious food, bathes him regularly, and protects him from all harm. There’s one thing, however, that she knows she’ll never be able to provide him – his dream of being able to walk and play.
Luckily for the dog, members of a local animal protection group came into the picture. They took Jjomaeng to the vet to ascertain he was in perfect health. And later on, they raised funds and bought him a custom-made wheelchair.
He was skeptical at first but Jjomaeng was curious to know how it felt to finally be able to walk. Carefully, he took his first step and he felt great. He took another step, and then another, until he was rolling without him even realizing it.
At long last, Jjomaenng can move freely. He needed some time to learn how to control where he was going but he aced it in no time. His dream of being able to walk has finally become a reality.
