Rottweilers can be loving and sweet, but they can also be a pain sometimes. You have to know how to handle them during their not-so-good days.
This Rottie’s name is Bear. He was mad about something, so he barked and growled at dad.
Bear was mad, growling, and frothing in the mouth. When dad approached, Bear growled inside his cage. Dad opened the cage and Bear stepped out, but dad was firm and resolute in laying down the law.
Dad raised his voice and told his dog to shut it. Bear didn’t obey immediately, and that had dad going head to head with his fur baby.
This Rottie then quickly decided that he wasn’t going to fight with his owner. The pet must have realized that dad was the true alpha in the house.
The dog was trained well by his owner because the pet knew what was expected of him. These two share a strong bond, and that’s why this hairy situation didn’t escalate.
Furry challenge
The dog sensed that dad was claiming his alpha status, so the pet grudgingly backed down.
He could tell his dad was stubborn and would not yield, so this dog knew he had to stand down, or else. Bear proceeded to hunker down in his cage.
It’s always best to train a dog from a young age so that they can learn how to behave properly. This should be done before they have too much time to think about being the alpha and all.
We strongly suggest not to try this if you’re not confident that the bond between you and your dog is strong. Hire a professional dog trainer to be safe.
