Rottweilers are nothing but teddy bears, period. This Rottie named Max just added weight to that popular theory.
This clip of Max is making its round on the web. This video is heartwarming as it is adorable, and dog owners and non-owners will be able to relate.
The clip starts with Max resting in his dad’s arms. You’ve got to understand the magnitude of that statement because Rottweilers are not small dogs. They’re huge and heavy, so holding them’s hard.
The dog’s treated like a king by his loving master. Given the size of Max, you’d think that he’d use all fours to stand up and balance himself against dad’s knee, but no. He rested on his belly, with his full weight being on dad.
The person who filmed the entire thing came closer, and that’s when Max gave his side-eye glance. That act alone made us burst out laughing.
It’s like he’s telling the person holding the camera to back off – he’s with dad, and no one else should have access to him at the moment.

Dad gave kisses and called his name, and Max knew that his owner was trying to tell him something. The dog didn’t budge at all because he didn’t want to leave just yet.
He’d rather stay with his loving dad than go anywhere else. He then made that I’m-the-king-of-the-castle face, and dad just kept on kissing and hugging him lovingly.
Dog owners will identify with this scene, but non-owners might also be able to see why we love dogs so much – it’s because they are unapologetically genuine about their feelings.
We know that Max will continue to be a big baby to his dad as well as be its number one guardian. You go, boy!
