Bogart, a bulldog from Denmark, became viral after someone videotaped him gazing through gaps in a fence with a crown painted on the outside. On Facebook, the video received over 62,000 shares.
Bogart, a 4-year-old English Bulldog, spends much of his day putting his head through the hole in their fence.
The dog’s owner, Ranveig Bjrklid Levinsen, shared that her family has two English bulldogs. Winston, a 7-year-old girl, and Bogart, a 3-year-old boy named after Humphrey Bogart, the late actor. Levinsen’s family resides near a hiking route in Grasten, Denmark, so many people pass by on a regular basis.
And it looks like Bogart and Winston took an interest in the people that passed by their yard. According to Levinsen, Winston used to leap over the fence when she was younger. So the family decided to make three holes in the fence so Winston could easily poke her head out to welcome passers-by.
Years later, Levinsen welcomed Bogart into their family, and it didn’t take him long to start using it too. After some time, she decided to paint something hilarious on the outside of the fence so that passers-by might somewhat enjoy it. Levinsen chose to paint a jester hat on one hole and a kingly getup on the other, similar to a picture stand-in you’d find at a carnival where you thrust your head through a hole.
Bogart is a joyful, charming, and loving little English bulldog. He will surely not do something he does not want to do. He also enjoys playing, and he loves it when his owner invites people over to their house.
People on the other side laugh every time Bogart or his sister peer through the gaps. Bogart likes the one with the royal crown, and anyone can tell that he feels like a king guarding the streets.
