Just because somebody is out of luck does not mean they are short on love. To prove this, look no further than this one homeless guy, Choco, and his two adorable pups named Shaggy and Nena.
Last week, a bystander somewhere in Bucaramanga, Colombia, saw a scene playing out on a few steps nearby. There, Choco as well as his two dogs sat down altogether in the warm evening air.
However, it soon became obvious that it’s not just any old evening for these three close friends. That night was so special.
As the park-goer looked on, Choco put a party hat atop Shaggys’ and Nena’s heads. Soon, he unveiled a cake and candles and then started to sing.
It’s Shaggy’s birthday, and Choco was simply throwing him the sweetest birthday party.
After the person ended the video, he approached Choco to know his name and entire story and to extend help to him as well as his beloved Shaggy and Nena. However, after the video was posted on social media, countless people would follow suit.
It was discovered that Choco has definitely spent the last many years just living on the streets after he escaped an abusive home. All along, he has seen to it that his dogs never go without.
Now, strangers are doing likewise for him.
Numerous Good Samaritans have gone forward to help Choco as well as Shaggy and Nena get back on their feet.
The park where Choco frequents has turned out to be a gathering site for other animal lovers, who have come to also donate food and supplies – and to ask Choco to pose for pictures along with their own pups.
Hopefully, thanks to the overflowing support they are getting, things will shortly turn around for the three of them.
For now, witnessing the love shared between Choco, Shaggy, and Nena, it’s clear that they already have something much more priceless than gold.
