Dogs are playful and mischievous at times that they can get into a mess. They encounter accidents and get dirty from all the playtime.
The same is true with the dog in this story. However, his owner found a way to make things work.
Key, a 6-year-old husky-malamute mix, is a lively dog. He enjoys frolicking in the garden, just like most dogs. His paws also get muddy when he plays too much.
However, Key or his parents do not always enjoy cleaning his paws when it gets dirty. His parents have even more reason to keep him cleaner than ever — one of his front paws got infected. They need a strategy that’s out of the ordinary, so the bright dog can still go out and do his business.
On February 9, 2021, Jodie, the lively dog’s mom, posted on YouTube her solution to keep his front left paw safe and clean. She was planning to make Key wear a boot.
The smart dog and his mom had a full conversation about what’s happening to him. First, Jodie reminded Key that his dad washed his paws after going out. The dog responded that he hated it because he didn’t like getting his paws wet.
She also mentioned if he knows his foot got infected. The smart dog huffed in confirmation. Then, she told him that she had an idea.
He looked skeptical at what his mom was about to say. When Jodie told him the idea, he wasn’t impressed. But, even if he wasn’t sold out to her idea, he still went along with it.
When Jodie put the boot on him, the dog got upset. He tried to get it off his paw and huffed at his mom. The precious furbaby was annoyed at having to wear the boot.
However, all his annoyance paid off. He was able to go out and do his business and stay clean.
Every dog deserves to stay safe. We need to make sacrifices sometimes sure they are alright, but it’s okay because they’re worth it.
